Blackberry Grilling Sauce suggestions, please.

Thread Starter
Greetings,
I'm looking for suggestions regarding a Blackberry grilling sauce. The berries this year are exceptionally sweet. I'd rather not waste perfectly good berries on experimentation. That being said, I'd appreciate some suggestions on spice and herb pairings.
I've done the web search thing and have mostly come across people putting blackberries into a basic tomato BBQ sauce.
For instance, I thinking of blackberries(seeded) and finely minced shallots, butter, and red table wine reduced. Maybe some tarragon?
Do blackberries go well with...here's a reach...nutmeg or allspice? Get the gist of it?
Even if you haven't actually tried that which you are suggesting, no worries, eh? I'm looking for creative ideas.
Any takers?
Thankyou,
Samvt

Cinnamon is frequently used in BBQ sauces, along with nutmeg. Not a large amount though. Think of what goes well with fruit when baking for a start. And black pepper is a must, it goes well with lots of fruits.
