I posted this in this thread, and I'm just trying to see if it has "legs"

If you’re looking for dining companions close by, my mother-in-law lives in a retirement home in South Jersey. You’ll have to pick her up. Then you will have to listen to the long, long, long list of things she can’t eat because of her medication. After that you will be treated to listening to why she has to take the medication. She will then want to know what religion you are so she can ridicule it, followed by a discussion of your personal politics and more ridicule. No matter how tired she says she is, do not let her stay the night. She will stand outside your bedroom door all night long trying to listen in, I think you know what she’s listening for.

On second thought, never mind. But hey, she’s ours and we love her.

Wow, an invitation from you who . . . wasn't it Easter that you made that fantastic spread?

My parents are in Moorestown. If you were next door, I'm sure they would love to be your guinea pigs. So would I, for that matter, if I were in NJ :lips:

I'd just like to get together with people and cook...learn, etc. :)

yep, easter we did a pretty decent spread....nothing crazy, but everything simple and good. even made nice menus (although I say that Fiance made them as if I admitted to making them, I might come across a little light in the loafers...)

If you'd have been in Jersey between '67 and '70, you could have cooked with me. I was all of 6.
