I read a recent biography of Julia, and it was well-known that she was an OSS officer - but an administrative one. She met her husband while both were assigned to southeast Asia, but there was no suggestion that she was a "spy." She developed a highly effiocient methodoogy of handling and organizing files and reports, but there were no accounts of her parachuting behind Japanese lines.
I don't know...I think she could've handled darn near anything. :cool: I've been wanting to read a bio on her, but it keeps getting moved down the reading list. Could you share which one you read and what you thought of it? Please?
