I have recently got very interested in cooking and found cooking main meals and appetisers fairly easy but I'm struggling with deserts.

I have now twice tried to make brownies with pecan nuts but both times the end result has been very crumbly and doesn't stick to together when I cut it.

Why does this happen?? I use gluten free flour..could this cause this?? I have been trying to get the cooking times right...I have guessed that 15 minutes on 150 degrees celcius would be good...but why is giving me this poor result??

Any help would be great
