Summer sports: Every little girl wants to be Nadia or Mary Lou Retton (am I showing my age?) and my knee jerk response would be women’s gymnastics…but the older wiser me (if such a thing exists) would ask my fairy godmother to let me be a high dive acrobat. I can only imagine what the physical catharsis of hitting the water perfectly vertical after all those twists and turns would feel like. Man, that would be cool.

Winter sports: I’m a giant girl and I want to wear a spangledy foo-foo glitter encrusted crazy outfit that would only be appropriate on a figure skater. Oh and as long as the fairy godmother is at it I want my rear end to look good in it too.:D

Winter - piece of cake... Ice Hockey! Why? Because I love the game.

Summer... Not as easy. Hard to say Either baseball because I love the game, or track because I used to enjoy running when I could (Sprinting that is)

One sport I honestly think I could have been really competitive in is mountain biking. I love it and I was pretty athletic 15 years ago, but I'm not in as good shape as I used to be.

And come to think of it, I don't have a whole lot of competitive spirit. I do things that I like to do no matter whether I'm ahead of the others or not. Am I getting old?

Oh I'm pretty competitive in online scrabble, no kidding. Yeah I am not as young as I used to be.

That begs a question--who in the world IS as young as they used to be??

Swimming, definitely.
I just love that feeling of slicing through the water and leaving a little flutter of wake.
Not that I do that now, but it still feels good.
