Antipasto

My boyfriend enjoys all kinds of food. He mentioned to me his family enjoys mostley meat and potato type dishes. Thanksgiving is very traditional. I was even thinking of a vegetable dish. I make a portabello mushroom stuffed with roasted peppers and cheese melted (fontina) over top. Fred, my boyfriend loves it, however, I believe not appropriate for a traditional thanksgiving dish. Then I thought of broccoli and black olives sauteed with garlic and olive oil?
