Just joined up and asked my first question a few days ago. The replies were very insiteful. I'm from a small city just outside of Toronto. I'm a pretty good home cook and make great desserts at home so I did a very silly thing. I opened a food store. I know, I know but it's too late now so I am looking forward to any help I can get with producing food in larger batches that will freeze and reheat well.
I did have a local chef/caterer preparing items for me but he got busier and his (my) food suffered because of it. Cutting corners and inconsistency has become unacceptable so now I get to do it all by myself.:eek:
I hope you don't mind coaching and mentoring me and if I see a subject that I feel I have something worthwhile to add to, I will.
Just taking a quick look around the site I can see that there are a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful people here. I look forward to "meeting" you.
