How did you get interested in cooking? I'm also a home cook, and for me it was my mom and grandmothers.
Are you considering a career in culinary arts? Time to save those pennies. :) We have some culinary instructors here at Chef Talk. If you're thinking about culinary schools, have a look at the Culinary Schools and Culinary Students' forum. There are plenty of threads there to read. Use the search tool to help you sift through, because we have 10 years of content here!

I was 15 when I knew that I wanted to become a chef. Years have past and I am a chef now. I've never been happier. Remember to always have fun. Welcome to the forum. ask questions this site has lots of people who know what the answers are, as long as its not your homework. Good luck.

I've got one of you at home. 15 and cooks like he was made for it. However, after a year with the raf cadets, he's determined to join the royal air force after he's finished school.
2 much older sons are both fab chefs and knew they would be at 15
