I didn't expect to be here long so I failed to post a greeting, but members of Cheftalk have been kind to me along the way. I think it is only right that I should say hello as I find myself returning with questions from time to time. :)
I don't think I have much of interest to say about myself. The interesting things are private. So what can I say?
I am paid to cook for others, which still astonishes me whenever I stop to think about it.
I certainly don't consider myself a chef, although I held the title at three establishments in a "past life". Sometimes I'd like to be doing something else, but I'm not unhappy and cooking always pays the bills.
I think I should be passionate about this work. Sorry, I try but it doesn't happen. I'm more passionate about organizing my shoe collection.
I know just enough about cooking to please those who employ me. Or maybe... I know just enough about the people who employ me to please them with my cooking. Either way, I stay employed and often overpaid. ;)
My username came about when my eye fell upon a quilted VB totebag beside my desk.
