That is how I get my wheat for making flour. Straight from the combine and into my storage after a bit of drying. 100% organic too :D best part was 100 pounds for $10 :D

Hey where are you? Are you near Marshall?

Actually I wasn't there. You should see the bags of apples that came home. He got on that tractor scoop and got hoisted up and he picked apples from the treetops! Priceless.

That is awesome, I have an 8 year old that has been around the kitchen since he was born. This year at his grandparents house we planted an acre sized garden. I helped him grow, tend and harvest everything himself so he would understand where his food comes from. Corn (12 rows), Ocra, tomatoes, Red and Green Bell Peppers, Pole Beans, Watermelon, Purple Skin Sweet Potatoes, Japanese Eggplant, garlic, and a few herbs. It was sooo much fun, and about a month ago we bought a chicken and a pig. Next summer is the next lesson in life about where your meat comes from.
