I have no personal experience with them, but here's what I found on the internet:

Eurest - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Compass Group North America - the leading contract foodservice company

compass group is a parent company of i think 6 different companys. restaurant associates, flik international, flik independant schools, morrisons, chartwells, canteen, eurest,ok thats 7. they mostly handle coporate accounts cafereria, executive dining rooms, some health care. It will be easy for you if you take the job not much different from catering or country clubs. weekends and holidays off depending on the account there are other perks(i think motoroloa is one of there places usually you get the employee discount) its not a bad gig if you ask me

Eurest is a great company to work for. The last account I worked for them at was at the University of Houston. I was the catering chef and and was given many freedoms to do almost anything I wanted. Your country club experience will give you lots of good ideas to bring to the table. They had very few recipes and promote their chefs to use their own recipes. Depending on the type of account you are hired for you will probably be entering the greatest possible schedule you could ever think of as a chef. Im a very involved parent and working there allowed me to keep my somewhat normal life working. I worked Monday thru Friday and besides the once in a while weekend catering I had all weekends and holidays off. Enjoy having your personal life back. :smoking:
