What is the best whole wheat bread for chili?

Would mixing corn into the whole wheat bread batter be a good idea?

I don't follow your question - where does whole wheat bread come into play when making chili?

what else are you going to use to dip it in but bread!! :D Corn bread...etc.

I like a nice chewy ciabatta with mine. I am working on a whole wheat version but it isn't quite ready for giving out. So far it is a touch too dense.

Oh, I see. I usually use nice thick tortillas warmed over a gas flame.

Came out pretty good, I also used Wheat Beer (Sunshine made by the same company that makes fat tire) for the deglazing, the broth, and used wheat flour as the thickener.
