:chef:My Favorite chefs in the world.I think of my Husband, and Chef Robert Irvine, both my favorites. They both have a sence of what goes with what. My husband taught me what I know, he is very smart as a Chef.I used White wines in Sauses,to go with some Chicken, and Turkey.I was told to make shure my Seasonings are correct.I think Seasonings are Great, what Id LOVE ANY CHEF HERE to tell me is, How do I create, my own type of seasonings, for meats, and one just for everyday use like soups, stews, omletts, types of things like that. You Chefs have my appreciation.I worked with some Chefs here in Pa, who really know their food.Id LOVE to be taken and showed more things, about cooking.I hope to go back to the Kitchen soon, as my back is healed, from Surgery. MY HATS OFF TO YOU CHEFS!!!!! YOUR GREAT!!! im wowed everytime, I watch you all. What im saying is what you all need to hear, and dont get eonough of.So here it is from me,a Prep/line cook: THANK YOU ALL FOR WHAT YOU CREATE, AND THE WORK YOU DO,AND THE LABOR.I APPRECIATE IT.

One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

I've owned one of these for over 3 years now, using it daily. I've never had to sharpen (grind) it, just an occasional run along a fine steel, and it's held a wonderful edge for everyday prep....

Hello Rachaelle and welcome to Chef Talk. With a chef in the house I'm envious of how easy it is to pick up ideas and learn skills. Here at Chef Talk we value the skills, knowledge and eagerness to learn of our home cook members. There is a great deal to be learned here, whether it's from participating in the forums or reading the cooking articles, blogs, or the many archived items from our 10 year history. Try using the search tool here to find earlier posts on topics of interest to you.
The only limitation we have is that home cooks like you and I mustn't post in the Professionals' forums. However, we're encouraged to read there. We hope you visit and participate here often.
Welcome!

P.S.- Italics are difficult to read sometimes, so you might want to choose a clearer font for your posts. :)
