Hello All!
My name is Megan and I'm just starting out in my baking career. I just graduated from culinary school last year with a degree in Pastry and Baking. I just stumbled upon this site when I was doing research for my current job. It seems like a fantastic place to learn tons of things and get any help you might need.

I'm currently finishing up my stint as head baker for a cupcake shop in Arizona. I'm heading back to the midwest to explore my options for a baking career. Right now my goal is to get as much experience as I can. Culinary school was an eye opening experience but I think that a career in baking is going to be an excellent adventure.

There are cooks of all abilities on here, from 'can't boil water' to masterchefs - all with interesting postings to their name - I hope you'll join in on any topic of interest to you.

There are a few fora for food professionals where you will be able to discuss matters with others working in your specialised field of cooking.
