Don't know about best chef because chef incorporates some many things, from an owners standpoint it might be $, from a customer it might be taste, from a line cook it might be knowledge. Anyways my boy is Bobby Flay, cooking on a grill inspired my interest in cooking, and I also like spicy food so he is my favorite. I also like the way he nibbles on the food as he cooks, and this shows me he really enjoys food.

Stripping off the theatrics and hype, I say Ramsay and Batali are probably the best. Lately I've been watching some of the early Japanese Iron Chef episodes on YouTube - Sakai and Michaba did some pretty nice work.
