stained my hands black oh no

Hi All

I haven't been around for about 6 weeks but I'm back now. And have I got a problem. The prunner showed up today and I asked him to prune my pecan tree. while he is doing the grape vines I went out to get every last pecan off the tree I could reach from the Orchard Ladder. I made the mistake of wearing cloth work gloves instead of leather and now have the first two fingers on each of my hands stained a really ugly black - looks like frost bite!yuk.

Any thought on removing this semi permanent stain?

Thanks

I don't really know of anything off hand, but I am sure in time it will just fade.

stained black fingers

I am sure you are right, no cure for the black finger. the indians used the dye walnuts produce i'm sure pecans are the same. i have both trees and have done the walnut dye years ago. Silly me!!!

well, I know that washing your hands with lemon juice, will help remove food odors, so I don't see why it wouldn't help remove the stains from your fingers.
