Here's a TV spot promoting my province, Nova Scotia, that we participated in last fall. Its part of a series of ads that have had some degree of saturation in Canada at least. I'm not sure beyond that but I know the viral campaign that served as the series lead in ("The Pomegranate") did target several US markets.

Anyway, you can now put a face to the name, if so inclined.

Great advertisement for Halifax! The produce in the market looked wonderful.

What a great piece! Thanks for sharing it. And, it's always nice to have a face to put with a name.

The Maritimes are on our travel list, too. :)

Thanks for the nice comments, everybody. Naiomi and I were both pretty pleased with how it turned out.

The Halifax Farmer's Market is a pretty amazing place. For a City our size with have access to some amazing products. Norbert, who's stall we were shopping at, is the elder statesman of organic farming in these parts. Can you call a farmer a genius, or artist? He makes the case. The fish seller at the market often will have sides of fish tagged with the time of day they were landed, often only three hours previous. Once we had arctic char brought in, with the intention of making tartar and found the fish too fresh! Rigor hadn't set in and they were so stiff you could hold them like a stick from the tail.

I have always wanted to visit Halifax and the general area. If and when we get there we'll have to look you up! Nothing better than the North Atlantic!
