according to a segment on bbc, theyre forecasting an addl. 10-15% slump in restaurant sales for 2009...

Logic dictates that as unenployment rate rises and it is supposed to peak at an all time high of 10%. So will food service sales. liquor however will probably do better as people usualy drink to hide their sorrows.:(

The middle of the road family dining is hurting. The chains that weren't very efficient have all gone under.

I was feeling "down in the dumps" until I looked at last year, we're "up" this year in spite of the economy!
