My family is headed to Vancouver, BC for an Alaskan cruise and would love to hear about any good restaurants in the area. We will also be spending time in Anchorage and would love recommendations that area also. Thanks:lips:

Vancouver has a large population of East Indian descent. I'm not at all surprised that they would have a fantastic Indian restaurant.

Lumiere is very nice. I'm from Victoria which is close and I remember the service well.

Ohh, I could probably tell you lots of places. These places mentioned above are just the ... how would you say it ... big name places, almost like celebrity style popular places, if you know what I mean.

But there are tonnes of great places.

But! This looks like an old post so I'm not even sure if you are interested anymore...

go to the Pourhouse then we both have to report back with
an honest assessment, k?

Araxi's been in Whistler for some time... I hear it's a pretty good place. As for Vancouver I recommend the Izakayas, they're not something you find out east (except for NY).
