One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

Hello Bratman and welcome to Chef Talk. I'm assuming the "brat" part of your name refers to bratwurst rather than an annoying little kid. :D We Wisconsinites automatically regard those four letters as a reference to tasty sausages. :lips:
We have a fair number of peoplel here who enjoy wild game, and more who like to make sausage, etc. from the bounty. If you use the search tool here, you can pop up a good number of earlier discussions on those topics. Furthermore, we recently hosted a discussion with Bruce Aidells; I'm sure you'll find some excellent information there.
Don't overlook the blogs, photo galleries, cooking articles and all the great resources here. We hope you enjoy the site and the community, and look forward to seeing you here often.
Welcome!
