Lounge menu ideas

Hello all...

Looking to open up an upscale lounge in Long Island concentrating mostly on drinks but want an small menu with appetizer items...I have thought of mussels, fondue, and fine cheese plate...I have looked on the Internet but not finding what I want...any ideas for quick, upscale appetizers?

Why not go Belgian with this? Moules, frites, cheese plates, charcuterie, waffles, maybe a few salads.

You mentioned mussels and the Belgian approach would certainly be "upscale" while not being pretentious enough to take it from lounge food to overly serious food. It might also be a great marketing tool. How many upscale, Belgian lounges are there on Long Island?
