Selection Process

Top Chef appeared to have selected chefs that have a lot of innate talent to create and cook on the fly...what was the selection process like?

I am interested in hearing about this as well can you elaborate on the audition and how you got selected for the show.

All the credit goes to the casting directors. They balance the personalities. They tell us to be who we are, and they'll do the rest. Everyone was a good chef.

Lots of interviews, reference checking, etc.
