15 minute dishes

It was amazing to watch Top Chef's 15 minute challenge. Did you get any forewarning about what the theme would be? To gather ingredients, share equipment, then cook a competitive dish in 15 minutes is impressive.

Unfortunately, we didn't get any warning. I wish! That's what made the quickfire challenges so stressful. I saw Hung in LA yesterday, and I had flashbacks of that "15 minute" challenge. As you may remember, he was the guest judge. As far as equipment went, it was first-come-first-serve, which was why you would see us running around the kitchen.
