How to make infused Iced Tea?

Thread Starter
I love iced tea but I would like to infuse it with fresh fruit or berries. I googled all kinds of combinations on how to make it but came up with poor results.

Do i slice fresh fruit and boil it or should i mash the fruit up and boil, steep with tea bags then strain? I would love to buy some fresh peaches or raspberry's and infuse them into my iced tea. Any suggestions on the correct way to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and have a great day,

Brian

the best yer gonna do with fresh fruit is make something like an Arnold Palmer (ice tea and lemonade in equal parts), a sangria or a tea like wine cooler . If your looking for subtle fruit flavors or flavors that will actually blend with the tea, try dried herbs or fruit. like dried apricots and lavender or thyme and dried lime zest. throw in a mortar and pestle, mash good, tie in cheesecloth, steep with tea.

honestly i would first steep some combos by themselves then try and find teas the flavors would complement. best of luck.
