Thank you for the very nice welcome! I love to cook just about anything, but mostly savory dishes. I'm not much of a baker, make the occasional cake, lemon curd pudding and an apple dish. The holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas I do tend to bake cookies at DD's and DS's request. I like trying new recipes, new ingredients and techniques. It's music to my ears when one or both of my children try something new I've made and say "Mom, that's really good!"
I guess what I'm interested in learning here is new and different ways to prepare meats, new twists on the old standbys, so to speak. I don't do much chicken because more often than not, I overcook it. I would love to learn how to bake the perfectly moist chicken breast. One day last week (I think), I heard someone on Food Network baking a stuffed chicken breast that was wrapped in prosciutto (sp?). It sounded so good and I would think the stuffing would help with the moistness?
