Well, not much to say amongst you professional individuals, but I'm looking forward to learning some new stuff on these forums and maybe doing some local (and not so local!) networking!

A quick about me: My name is Chris and I'm 25; 10 years in the restaurant biz so far. Right now I'm a manager for Chili's, where I've been working for 6 years. I'm going to culinary school in the fall here in Arizona at Scottsdale Community College and right now I'm in the process of putting in some resumes at some fine dining Scottsdale restaurants to be a line cook. Ultimately, I'd like to own my own new-american seafood restaurant by a beach somewhere, maybe in San Diego. I'd love to be able to go out fishing once in a while for my own supplies :lips:! haha.

There is a forum specifically for culinary students, which you might find interesting.

We have all levels of proficiency here, from just starting out at-home cooks to Masterchefs.
