hello friends, I'm a new member to this site -

I have been in the kitchen since i was 13 years old and since then for the last 20 years
have been learning about food

I think the fact that the learning process never ends is what keeps my passion for the job going

always nice to collaborate with other chefs

Like many on here, I am not a professional, but the majority of people are involved in the culinary trades in some way - so you will find lots of like minded people on here. I am just one of those who loves to cook and loves food!

There are lots of interesting articles on here, as well as some outstanding photography. Have a look round and then jump in on any thread of interest to you, or even start your own!

I'm a newbie to this site as well. I agree with you, Richard, how the learning process never ends. There's always something to experiment with when it comes to cooking. I'm a home cook, no experience, but I have a love for cooking and learning new techniques and tips.
