Thanks for the direction on where to look for information on the forums.
It may look like I'm trying to cut corners, but this actually IS part of my research...I am in an operations management class so I have to search out credible sources for information in regard to the supplies (I am setting up the supply chain--I need to know how much volume is needed for supplies in order to set up the purchasing of it. I am also trying to understand the process so I can come up with feasible equipment.
If I can understand how things really work, then the operations will be more realistic. Since I have absolutely no experience in the food service industry, I am seeking out those who have that knowledge to get some general ideas.
I actually thought it was quite resourceful of me to seek out information here--I don't consider that cheating. After all, in real life if I were attempting to start up an operation like a steakhouse, I would certainly talk to people who knew the different aspects of the business first.
