Hey There!

My name is Ryan and this is my first official post on this site. I have about 3 years experience in a professional kitchen. I love most things piggy related and ALL things cheese related. I'm still new to "fancy" food, so I am up for trying most anything. I'm also really intrigued by the sort of 'real' food movement. You know, like raw milk and grazed cattle?

Hello Ryan and welcome to Cheftalk.

I'm Scottish and just an enthusiastic amateur cook - but we have all levels of expertise on here, from those just starting out on their culinary journey to masterchefs! I am a great believer in organic foods - I've bought only organic meats for nearly 25 years. I'm lucky that my butcher and his family own nearby farms and so I can have the quality of the meat guaranteed. His haggis ain't bad either!

I hope you will have a look at some of the interesting articles and amazing photographs on the site.. and then feel ready to join in on threads that are of specific interest to you - or even start your own!
