I have a couple of cakes to do for the weekend and a baker who's off until Monday. Can I frost/ice them today and keep them in the freezer?
I am using a buttercream but subbing out half of the butter for b-flavored crisco as this weekend is supposed to be very hot and humid and I dont' want the frosting sliding off the cake.
Alternately, if I frost the cakes today and DON'T freeze them, will they still be good for Saturday?
