so i live in a medium size college town in colorado. the state is wonderful for awesome fresh food and the local food movement is huge.
however, i feel left in a isolated city in the middle of cow and country towns without much any fine dinning or fine food culture. i would like to just be able to hang out with people who like to eat and even more cook, make some friends and learn from one another. i'm always keeping my eyes open for anything food, the best i've found is the co-op but the produce is more important then the cooking.
even cooking classes or clubs seem tough to find. so far nothing. i've been to some pot luck dinners but no real eaters.
where sould i start to look? (hang out in infront of sur la tabla?)
what should i search to find out more about making the food rather then buying it at the farmers market? not to discredit market shopping.
do i look for classes or clubs? or do i stay on the forum to get all my cooking needs?
thanks
