Frosting 101

Was in the stores today and i see Pillsbury makes a low sugar frosting using Splenda so i bought a can to try. I'm not a big fan of Splenda because i stinks, can't bake with it. I use Whey Low and have made frosting with the granular sugar which didn't turn out to well and the powder which also wasn't right. It had to be my recipe so can someone give me a recipe for frosting Vanilla and chocolate? :chef:
