Changing Seasons Changing Menu?

Fall is coming in. Was wondering if you make any substantial changes to your camp cooking once cooler weather arrives.

One obvious change is soup, and I'm sure many of you add soups to your camp kitchens. But what other changes and additions to you make?

Adding warm drinks and hot foods is certainly the ticket. You'll need to up the calories and carbs for winter to keep the human furnace going to keep warm. I don't remember the formula but there is a rough one out there for adding calories as the temps go down. If I remember correctly, 6,000 calories a day is minimum for a day of cross country skiing and camping. Look for camping books that cover cold weather camping or extreme camping.
