Moderator, need help posting photo

Thread Starter
I posted a photo at the thread entitled Homemade Cottage Bacon. Yet, my photo that was displayed was no bigger than a thumbnail. In reality, it's larger. How can a larger image be posted like what's displayed in the first post of that thread????? HELP!

Best,

You could set up a free account on photobucket.com or you could upload an image to tinypic.com and choose which size you want.

Sounds like you were using the "attachment" feature. That's limited due to storage limitations on the cheftalk server.

ImageShack® - Image Hosting

Upload the photo to that site. (note: if your photo is very large, please either use the "resize" option for message boards or use one of the clickable thumbnail urls when you post.) Imageshack will then give you a bunch of different url's to use. The thumbnail url's can be copy/pasted as is, but to display the pic full-size, use the direct link with image tags around the url. You can either type the image tags in manually or use the "insert image" button on the editor.

Press "quote" to see the bb code for the picture below:

This should be sticky, if the info isn't already, really.
Good info, Greg.
