Thanks for let'n me join. Just a "normal"(:lol:) guy who likes to bbq/smoke food and cook. More of an adventurous eater and will try anything once.

Wife and 2 kids. Family is willing to try things, but not as much as my daughter & I. Wife and son like "comfort" food. I guess, who would like discomfort food?

I like to joke, and can take a joke.

I hope I can add something to the forum thru my bbq/smoke'n experience.

I look forward to helping and getting help.:D

Hi BigAl and welcome to Chrf Talk. We have a good many BBQ mavens here, so you'll find lots of others to share with and learn from. You might try using the search tool to find older threads that aren't currently visible.

Besides the forums we have blogs, cooking articles, photo galleries and more. While the Professionals' forums are 'read only' for home cooks like you and me, there's a great deal to be liearned there just by reading. You're welcome to post in the General forums, and we hope you do.

I think you'll find we appreciate and respect everyone's knowledge. Welcome!
