Chefs are bad drivers

While the linked blurb is titled about Computer Engineers, they along with chefs and doctors are professions that make vehicle insurance claims at a higher rate than most other professions. They theorize the long working hours cause tired drivers.

I was pricing car insurance for no.2 son. When I asked why the premiums were so high, I was told that chefs tend to have drink problems and are therefore high risk.

Chefs....drinking problems!? I resent that remark! I can drink quite well, for hours on end without ever spilling a drop. Not only do I not have a drinking problem, I've been told on numerous occasions that I am a professional! :D:crazy::D

When I changed my occupation 3 years ago from Chef to Food Scientist I saw a 40% drop for the same car in the same city. Booze, Drugs and long hours amount to poor driving decisions.
