Gidday. I'm from Australia (don't hold that against me) and pretty sure there's no one awake over there at the moment.
I grew up in a restaurant. My father was a chef, my uncles ran a huge catering company, (football stadiums, airports, etc) and hospitality was all I ever knew. Even my own brother became a chef and owns a hotel in Sydney. I knew better of course, graduated from university and became a journalist. Had a midlife crisis and bought a run-down 100 seat cafe/bistro, (I'm talking closed down by the Health Dep't run down !!) Spent 5 months doing it up, opened in February this year and just turned over my first $600,000 (oh joy, oh joy!!). Haven't made a cent in profit though but now have 14 employees. So there, crazy or what?
