Hey res,
I just googled what you wanted and found one that seems pretty easy. I haven't tried it but it should be straightforward and work.

(.... it's from the website:

Easy stovetop chicken recipe is a savory weeknight treat)

"Stovetop Chicken with Potatoes
Serves 4

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 (3-pound) chicken, cut up
3 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
½ teaspoon dried rosemary
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
3 garlic cloves, chopped very fine

In a large skillet with a cover, heat the oil and butter for 30 seconds. Add the chicken and potatoes, sprinkle with salt, pepper and rosemary, and brown on all sides, stirring the potatoes and turning the chicken with a spatula.

After about 10 minutes, cover the skillet and cook for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken tests done" (i.e. pierce it with a knife at thickest joint, juices run clear - if still red/pink, cook little bit longer, test again). "Place the chicken and the potatoes into a serving bowl. Sprinkle them with the chopped parsley."

I would add some lemon juice (about 1 small lemon) while it's simmering, then if you like it, add a 1/2 cup of cream 5 mins before the end (don't boil).

Hope this helps
