I just googled what you wanted and found one that seems pretty easy. I haven't tried it but it should be straightforward and work.

"Stovetop Chicken with PotatoesServes 42 tablespoons olive oil1 tablespoon butter1 (3-pound) chicken, cut up3 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubedSalt and pepper to taste½ teaspoon dried rosemary2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley3 garlic cloves, chopped very fineIn a large skillet with a cover, heat the oil and butter for 30 seconds. Add the chicken and potatoes, sprinkle with salt, pepper and rosemary, and brown on all sides, stirring the potatoes and turning the chicken with a spatula.After about 10 minutes, cover the skillet and cook for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken tests done" (i.e. pierce it with a knife at thickest joint, juices run clear - if still red/pink, cook little bit longer, test again)

I would add some lemon juice (about 1 small lemon) while it's simmering, then if you like it, add a 1/2 cup of cream 5 mins before the end (don't boil).
