I need some help! I have a DCS stove and the thermostat went out on one oven. When Fischer and Paykel bought DCS they discontinued the commercial line and after weeks of calls to Australia and CA, they have informed our restaurant supply company that the part cannot be ordered and suggested we buy a new unit.(of course) I work for a small non-profit and this is absolutely NOT in the budget! Does anyone know of an online resource (we are in IA) for used oven parts? Or someone who can find me a compatible part? The only thermostat I have found online is new for $500.00 and not really feasible. I cannot stand being down one oven.

Thermostats and thermocouplers usually are generic parts and widely avialable at any restaurnat supply store. Don't know if this holds true for DCS, but no one that I know of makes custom thermostats for their ovens.
