Need Sausage Help

I am making sausages but I have run into a problem. The recipe i have calls for five pounds of sausage and I was only planning on making about ten links. Could someone help me out please?

By doing math?
I'm missing something here.

3-4oz is good per link. I would do 40oz total so halve that recipe.
