I bought one of these just for making osso buco. I found myself using it for a lot more than just that. I make tomato sauce in it, chili, any excuse I have to bust it out, I do. I absolutely...

One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

Welcome, Fridaybaker! I hope you enjoy being part of this community. Home cooks (and bakers) like you and I can learn so much here. But don't be shy about sharing what you know, too. There's always something you know that somebody else doesn't.
Besides our discussion forums, we have blogs, cooking articles, the photo gallery and its current contest.... there's so much here. You can start your own blogs, post your own photos (I have a few here of which I'm proud), etc.
What got you interested in food and cooking? Was there someone who served as a mentor to you? What is special about baking on Friday?
Welcome!
