Hi, I'm a new member. I used to write for Chef Nicko ages ago. I'm a former executive chef, executive pastry chef, culinary school instructor, food critic, food editor of a daily newspaper, and now I write about food online. I'm the Guide to Eastern European Food for About.com/The New York Times. I recently returned from a culinary trip to Poland. Everything is Mo-Po there (modern Polish cuisine) -- very chichi! Check out my site if you have the inclination.

Welcome, Chef Rolek! Any friend of Nicko's is a friend of ours.
We'll look forward to your posts and to your perspectives on Eastern European food. If it's been a while since you visited, you'll see a great deal of new features. I hope you enjoy browsing the cooking articles, blogs, photo gallery (and its contest), and so much more.
I hope you post about your culinary explorations during your recent travels.
Welcome!
