What timing

Based on another recent thread I'm working on getting things ready to make some Italian beef sandwiches for dinner tomorrow. I'm wondering about what rolls to get. My wife comes home with a handful of odds and ends she got today, and asks me if we can use this loaf of roasted garlic ciabatta bread.

It took me a few seconds to quit laughing and explain.

Not perfect, but it will most certainly do.

The italian beef sandwiches turned out quite tasty. The beef was a tad on the bland side, since I cater to my wife's tastes. Light on the vinegar, no crushed red pepper, no pepperoncini, sigh.

But I have this idea that some of the leftover beef, with a bit of doctoring, might make really good enchiladas. We shall see.

Mmmmm roast beef sandwiches....I feel like Homer Simpson drooling when I hear those three little words

Can you not make some spicy and some others not? My family has a range of tolerance of spicy odds and sods too, so where we can, I just offer a range of spices and "fixings", they choose what they like. "Come and get yer fixings!", comes the call hehe. Then all rush in and get what they like.

That's just how we roll :)

Enchilladas sounds gooood!
