Glad to discover you. Googled hoisin sauce recipes and found this site. In addition to the standard ersatz brown sugar hoisin sauce recipe that has found its way across the internet this site had a traditional one from someone's mom which started out simmering plums in sake. Nice!:peace:

Welcome - we have more opinions here than the UN...!
