vigonier help

Some friends and I have started a wine-tasting group. We began with Shiraz/Syrah (an Australian, one from Washington, and one from California) a few nights ago and it was great.
Next month we're tasting Viogniers and D and I are to bring one from France and it has to be under $20. Any suggestions?

Also, we each bring a cheese that would go well with the wine. Any suggestions there?

Thanks!

E,

I like aged cow and goats milk cheeses. They work really well with the floral notes of the varietal.

Some examples are brilliant savarin from France with a natural rind. Cows milk.
Livarot is great as well. Also cows milk. Ossau-Iraty. Pyrenees sheep's milk cheese. I’ll add later as I’m out the door.
