What can I make with Indian Puffed Rice?

I picked up a large bag of Indian Puffed Rice, what can I make with this?

I found some curry type recipes online.

Has anyone cooked with this before?

I have a question....are you looking for a sweet dish ? If you are not , there is a dish called "Barugula Upma", it is not hard to make but you would need the spices in order for it taste good, it takes 25 minutes to cook and about a half hour standing.

There is another dish which is very easy to make and they are "Sweet Puff Balls". .
The dish is made with jaggery or honey, ground cardamom (and silver flakes when made for diwali).

I have seen it used in simple snack dishes with nuts and chilli pepper.....

Thanks! Barugula Upma sounds good, I'm more of a spicy rather than sweet guy.

OK,

The other dish I was thinking of is called "Jhal Muri" which happens to taste really good. This is basically how I used to make it......

300 g of puff rice (murmura)
3 tbsp finely chopped onions
60 g of finely chopped cooked potatoes
60 g of finely chopped tomatoes
60 g of finely chopped cucumber
1 tsp of finely chopped green chillies
2-3 tbsp of fried ground nuts
1/4 sprouts
2 tbsp mustard oil ( you can sub this )
dash of salt

Combine all your ingredients together and mix the oil and salt at the end.

This is normally a snack food.

Thanks! I didn't know potatoes were that common in Indian cooking, I had a dish this weekend that also had potatoes in it.
