These cookies are very tasty! So easy to make!
1-1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 cup milk
Stir together and set aside.
1/2 cup margarine or butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. grated lemon zest
1-3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Cream margarine or butter with sugar until fluffy.Beat in egg and lemon zest.
Sift dry ingredients;add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.Beat after each addition.
Drop from a teaspoon 2 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Remove at once and brush with a lemon glaze.
Lemon Glaze
3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup lemon juice.
