Welcome back gummybear. Lists are really just that a list of things such as cookware, cookbooks, etc that you own. It is a way to share your stuff with others. For example if you look at my profile I have a list of cookbooks I have reviewed, knives I own, cookware I own, kitchen equipment, and a list of stuff I would like some day.
With a list you can add things you see here to your list and you can mark it as "Own it", "Want it", "Had it". The idea is that when we see 40 people own a certain pot or pan we may investigate it more and see if we should add it to our collection. If we are interested in something particular and see that 75 people "had it" we would find out why they got rid of it.
The lists in summary help others make good buying decision on their cooking equipment and cookbooks. Make sense?
