Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll find many opinions on culinary school here.
Sounds like you have a passion for baking. ~Do you specialise? I made olive bread rolls and a few sun dried tomato and oregano ones today,but they were too ligfht. I was aiming for a ciabata style, ~ still they went down well.

I'm in the same boat here - A home cook that would love to go to culinary school. I don't have the teenagers, but I do have a mortgage, and that ties you down pretty well. Luckily, I'm pretty young, so I have the time.
