Thanks for your input.  Like you, I refuse, absolutely, to buy oils - and just about anything, for that matter - in plastic containers.

I'm no expert, have done no studies, etc.
But I find it hard to believe that oil from the first cold press of an olive can be more dangerous to you when heated than oil from all subsequent presses of the same olive.

My freinds uncle makes the best extra virgin olive oil! i often just have it on toast!
